Typically, when travelers want to get on Standby, they need an earlier flight. Now this can be done as part of the self-service tools in combination with the option to replace an existing flight.
A big challenge was showing Standby flight information in addition to the 'Confirmed' flight. The solution was to implement a toggle function where, by default, a passenger would see the Standby flight in the itinerary and click a toggle link to swap the Standby/Confirmed flight data.
